User centered design
Our designs are not just new forms for existing products, but they are truely innovative in usability. New functional principles are tested with users so that we are sure that the new product means an improvement in usability. We find that more important then winning design awards.
In order to design great experiences for your customers we daily work on the following theme's: - User friendliness | we daily observe people, their behaviour and their interaction with products. Ever project, however small, is focused on the user. We talk, observe, interview, play roles and design concepts and products that make the lives of the user better, safer, more interesting and more fun.
- Technology | we apply constantly for new technologies, new concepts, new materials and apply every time new elements in our designs. Therefore we experiment more and can come also in your projects to products that have something really new: a new combination of materials, new functionality, new smart technology.
- Distinguished | in our designs we look for forms that distinguish from competition, but also forms that fit to the target group, that are simple and clear. The styling can be linear, organic, geometric, minimalist or mathematic. With ornaments or sober, kinetic, powerful or streamlined. Goal is that the product fits with your identity, that it communicates your company values and gives you advantage over your competition.
- Price | we are independent and do not produce ourselves. We have close contacts with many suppliers in several projects and therefore we are able to get hold on the latest production technologies and enter new ways together with our suppliers. That results in new knowledge and gives you good production pricing. And in the end is the price you pay per product during production way more important than the development costs.
- Sustainability | we find that people should be able to enjoy good products for a long time, that products should be robust and give users an emotional value, so that they take care of their products. And that products should have the possibility of being disassembled easily so that materials can be used again. Or that certain modules can be exchanged easily when technology progressed a step further.
