Scarab
Gripping ideas you may remember from science fiction movies found its implementation in a new holistic solution for urban transport from designer David Miguel Moreira Gonçalves. The elegant ant is composed of interchangeable modules that can be customized. We found this design very charming.
MUJI Award 03
The long-awaited results of one of the most interesting competitions of simplicity and timeless aestetics (what can be more intricate) have been annonced! Since the award was established, MUJI has maintained its special approach of keeping an open mind for everything that happens around us, observing everyday life, niticinig thing most people do not see behind the automatic routine, learning from the cultural and historical heritage of the world, discovering the benefits of nature, getting new insight and translating them into the design of products.
Straw Straw
The straw straw by designer Yuki Iida (Japan). The original meaning of the term "straw" was "wheat straw". Wall art depicting people using straws of wheat to drink from have been discovered from ancient Mesopotamian ruins. Straws of wheat are forms created by nature; they are materials that return to the soil. There's no waste in either the shape itself, or in its actual existence.
Nail
By designer Masashi Watanabe. We all know how complicated the most simple thinks can get. Just take a nail, pound it into the wall: who does not experience this tiny feeling of hopelessness when the nail starts to bow into the wrong direction. Things fall from it and even sometimes all together with the nail? Global observation of this problem brought the designer into the thinking process. And as a result the most rational sort of nail hook you could get came out. The nail can be secured at a set angle and length, creating beautiful hooks everywhere you like.
Stapler
By designer Joonhyun Kim. When you usually use a stapler, you can't seem to align the staple up exactly where you want it to be, which often leads to trouble. To solve this kind of problem, an indentation lined up with the corner of the paper has been set, making it easy for you to sink a staple in exactly the place you want it to go.

Dusi Tea Kettle
By Juliet Symes. Interesting design, combining both a kettle and teapot in one object makes tea making process easier, but does not harm the essence of the tea making ritual,. As Juliet Symes says: “Dusi is a real mixture of Bauhaus, cottage and 21st century styles but result in a smooth contemporary form”.
Needle
Great! Finally! The Big Eye Needle is here. It is an ordinary loop-eye sewing needle, except it’s made of some new fangled metal. With a bit of pressure, the tiny loop-eye expands to the size of a button hole making threading a cinch - literally. Small thing, which makes life much simpler.

Capto Feltest Equipment asked Bluelarix Designworks to develop a new product for the paper industry. Soon more information will be given about this project. Creativity World Forum - Hacking WiiCWF is the yearly meeting of the Districts of Creativity Regions. At this moment, worldwide 12 strong regions on 3 continents are member of the DC Regions network.
