Design Testdrive (new)
Bluelarix Designworks offers now the possibility to generate a beautiful and realistic product concept design for a fixed price. This is a great opportunity to get to know us and see whether further cooperation could be succesfull. Clients that started with this Design Testdrive are very possitive about the results.
Contents of the Design Testdrive
In the Design Testdrive we follow the usual route of strategy, user needs, product specifications, concept development, design. But then in a light form, with most attention to user needs and design. On the basis of video pictures or observations of users and background information we start the project and by sketching we come to a concept. This concept we develop further in 3D CAD, in such way that a clear picture of the product comes into being.
During the Design Testdrive all aspects of design are addressed: produceability, sustainability, functionality, materials, colors and forms. Of course the product concept is not ready for production after finishing this Design Testdrive, but for a some thousands of euro's you will have a good basis, that can turn into a beautiful, functional and innovative product with some extra work.

Bluelarix News
At the moment different product design projects are being worked on at our office. In cooperation with Bluelarix Designworks the CrossMate (R) has been designed and a prototype has been made. The product is protected under a patent application and presently negotiations about licencing rights are taking place with some worldwide players in the market of tools.
The CrossMate(R) is a small handy and beautifully designed device that eases the life of concrete driller. The device saves a considerable amount of time, produces an accurate positioning of the drilled holes and less failures. In connection with a patent application procedure and license discussions the first photo's of the product will be shown to the public by spring 2008.
The Tensio+ has received its form and a fully new design, unknown and revolutionary today in the paper industry, together with an innovative measuring concept will result in an accuracy that will be better than all known instruments in the industry. The first concepts and photo's will be shown to the public on the exhibition in Stockholm, by the end of May 2008.
