NYC bike helmet

Every time when designers and society discuss about how we can make our kids wear bike helmets, we end up with the same conclusion: kids follow the example of the cool grown up, and grown up's do not wear helmets because they are not cool. Well it seems change has come. The NYC Bike Helmet is designed for every rider and every season. The modular system has a protective polystyrene inner shell and a soft fabric outer cover with integrated straps. Each owner can customize and personalize the outer cover, which easily separates from the protective shell for better storage and cleaning.
Single Hand Cook

The One-Hand Kitchen Equipment is designed for people who can use only one hand, and the beauty of the products (7 in all) is that both lefties and rightists can use it with ease.
BookMarker

BookMarker is thin enough to act as a bookmark but big enough to house a pen and page flags, making your notes a breeze. It fits easily in your book to mark your pages without breaking your book binding and includes a nifty strap that wraps around your book when it is closed.
Sailing Car Concept

This new concept car is a combination of romantics and pragmatism. The performance of the electrical engine is intensified by the power of wind. Entry to the cockpit of the vehicle is via the elevating windscreen and the rigid sail adjusts according to the wind direction automatically or manually, through the sail control unit inside the cockpit. We are wondering, if the idea holds much favour, how will our future roads look like?
Weird Cups

These are all bits and pieces from the porcelain tableware set designed by Dutch designer Aldo Bakker. Each one does not only trigger your curiosity with the new delicate approach for the tradition of eating, but makes you stay motionless for some time for its absolute beauty.
Squeezer

Good thing for all time. Your answer to the economical crisis. Squeeze it out till the last drop! Works good with toothpaste, but also with a tube of mayo or ketchup.
Book Stones

Lisa Kokin alters books, text and memory by a complex system of destruction and preservation. There is as much meaning in what has been taken away as in what remains. In her current series, she literally reshapes the content of selected old books by making papier mache balls, organ-like objects and cubes out of the shredded pages, then sews the contents back inside and outside of the original book covers. Bits and pieces of the original text remain, although the literal meaning is lost.
Headphones that never tangle

Lee Washington developed a set of headphones that won’t tangle. Yes! And finally! More details on YouTube /
Eco Mega Tent

Latest research shows that by weaving specially coated solar threads (photovoltaic fabric) into conventional fabric, revolutionary new ways of capturing the sun’s energy could soon become a reality. The Concept Tent’s solar shell uses this technology to full effect with three directional glides, capturing the optimum amount of energy that can be used throughout the tent in a variety of new and exciting ways. It has gps location technology, a wireless control hub, supplied with a flexible, touch screen LCD display, with integrated wireless charging hubs. And of course a groundsheet heating!
Anti-theft lunch bag

Camouflage bags for your lunch! Just watch out for an attentive dude that may desire to clean up the fridge some day!
Knowledge: immersion Every one of us knows the feeling of being just out of the world for a while, carried away by the fascinating plot of a movie or a book, or attracted by the smell, light or visual form of a game. This state of consciousness where our awareness of our physical self is diminished or even lost for some time is called immersion. This mental attention to something different can stop the time and let the whole world wait, it can raise a very intense feeling of freedom and joy. When we are in this immersion state things seem and very often are different. Just remember this great feeling of being able to deal with huge challenges, moments when goals are so very clear, everyday's routine and small worries vanish and your performance increases, you forget about the lunch and do not feel the cold and tiredness. This is what we would say: you catched the flow! All our lifes we are somehow swinging in between boring apathy and high stress. When our perceptual and cognitive systems seem to be almost overloaded, immersion appears. In most situations it is not clear which combination of stimuli leads us to the most intense experience of immersion. It is still found that the most successful combination of stimuli comes from different origins: visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory, and gustatory (sensitive experiences) reinforced by cognitive involvement. It is for a great deal an art rather than a set of rules. Therefore, when working on good design it is important to find the right combination and proportion of stimuli that can pull people out of the daily routine, make them dream and stay creative. Loyalty by design The Design Quickstart is an excellent way to start with product development and industrial design. It is a flexible and clear project in order to give your ideas for a new product a jump start, with focus on the analysis of your situation, the user, design and concept. Quality DesignIn this way you can work with our creative team for the first time, have yourself surpriced by new solutions, posibilities and quality design. Low riskYou have no obligations, after the completion of the project you can have us do the further development of the product, but you could also do it yourself or ask a third party to do it. You have weekly insight in the progress and financial situation of the project. More information?Read more on our website: Design Quickstart / or write us an email:

CaptoA first serie of 50 pieces of the Capto tools is being put into production by Feltest Equipment. Door systemAt the moment much work is conducted to build a prototype of a new door system with innovative improvements so that easy installation gets possible. Soon we will inform more about this project. Toothpaste packagingThe last tests are being conducted with the target group, then the new patented toothpaste packaging designed by Bluelarix Designworks is ready for production. Also from this product we will soon show images. Free Design ToolkitDownload a free human centered design toolkit from IDEO: through this link /Three renewed servicesThis month we introduce three fully new or renewed services.
